APRIL HORTON

April Horton April Horton was raised in West Texas and attended Paris Junior College and later Texas A&M University-Commerce. She spent the past 8 years in the non-profit sector where she managed client and donor relations, designed collateral, developed relationships to for organizational awareness and organized and planned events such as East Texas Giving Day and other successful fundraising events.

April joined The 24 staff in 2019, as the Communications and Development Associate and now works as the Communications Director. She is passionate about the mission of The 24 and enjoys bringing awareness to an organization that restores so many lives.

April has two daughters and together they live on a small farm lovingly referred to as “Chaos Farms.” She is the President of her local softball league and enjoys coaching her daughters in basketball and softball. With her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and horses.
