Richard Fleming is the CEO & founder of State Tax Group, LLC. State Tax Group, LLC is an award-winning boutique multi- state and local sales tax advisory and consulting services firm located in Dallas since 2005.

As a native North Texan, Mr. Fleming has been investing in the North Texas community for over 23 years now through volunteerism. In 2009, with a deep sense of wanting to give back to his community, Richard was elected school board trustee of “his” Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD serving the cities of Dallas, Farmers Branch, Carrollton, Coppell, Addison, and Irving from 2009 to 2018. In June 2022 Richard was elected to Carrollton City council place 3. Richard serves on local, state, and national boards of non-profits. Richard currently serves as a business mentor and coach to the students enrolled in his alma mater Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD’s International Business Academy at Newman Smith Highschool in Carrollton.
