Thomas Ricks, President of North Dallas for PlainsCapital Bank, oversees the day-to-day bank operations, as well as the daily management of the commercial lending team. In addition, he cultivates new business relationships and grows PlainsCapital Bank’s commercial lending portfolio for the North Dallas market as well as develops and maintains key business relationships with local business and civic leaders, customers, and prospective clients. Ricks joined PlainsCapital Bank in 2003 as a loan review analyst and has more than 18 years of commercial banking experience in the Dallas market.

Ricks obtained B.B.A.’s in Accounting and General Business from the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business as well as an Executive M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management. Additionally, Ricks graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Ricks has also been active as a Board Member for the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce since 2017.
