DAWN LAQUAY

Dawn LaQuay grew up in Port Lavaca, a small town on the Texas Coast. Earlier in life, she enjoyed sports, going to church, singing in the choir, helping at her grandfather's shrimping company, and playing musical instruments with a love for the piano.

Dawn's life took a turn when she discovered alcohol and drugs. After struggling for years, she came to The 24 and surrendered to making a change. Today, Dawn is working a solid program of Recovery and has been sober since March 2018. She currently serves as the Women's Program Manager at The 24—the very place where her journey of Grace began. Dawn’s family has been restored, and her life has changed in wonderful ways. She is passionate about helping the next person begin their own journey of Recovery.
