DAWN LAQUAY

Dawn LaQuay grew up in Port Lavaca, a small town on the Texas Coast. As a child, she enjoyed fishing, helping at her family's Shrimping Company, and playing the piano.

Dawn's life took a turn when she discovered alcohol and drugs. After struggling for years, she came to The 24 and surrendered to making a change. Today, Dawn is working a solid program of Recovery and is coming up on 5 years of continuous sobriety. She is currently the Women's Program Manager at The 24, which is the very place where her journey of Grace began. Dawn’s family has been restored and her life has changed in wonderful ways. She looks forward to fishing again and helping the next person begin their journey of Recovery.
