Dallas' Top Chefs Come Together to Support Homeless Addicts

Dallas, Texas – Dallas’ top chefs will join together on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 5pm – 8pm at Sixty Five Hundred for the 5th Annual Dallas All Star Chef Classic benefitting Dallas 24 Hour Club. The festive event, featuring 28 chefs, is a spirited get together to enjoy delectable dishes, live music by Taylor Pace Orchestra and lots of dancing, in addition to raising critical funds for Dallas 24 Hour Club!

The Dallas All Star Chef Classic was born with a mission to help with fundraising efforts for Dallas 24 Hour Club and to further addiction awareness within the restaurant community. The idea evolved in 2014 during a brainstorming session for the 45th Anniversary of Dallas 24 Hour Club.

Terry Kranz, owner of TK Culinary and Board Member of Dallas 24 Hour Club, came up with the idea after participating in other prestigious cooking events. “Substance abuse is rampant in the restaurant industry and especially in Dallas throughout. Most people get off work and go to bars and restaurants to unwind. We wanted to show people, especially our residents and alumni, that you can have fun and enjoy yourself without alcohol. What better way to raise awareness for this disease then by bringing top chefs together to produce such a memorable event?” Terry emphasizes.

Along with Sean Frye of TK Culinary, many chefs are participating in the 2018 Dallas All Star Chef Classic: Ashley Miller with Billy Can Can, Janice Provost with Parigi, Jeffery Hobbs with The Slow Bone, Josh Sutcliff with Mirador, John Kleifgen with Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse and many, many more!

“This really is a DO-GOOD, DO-RIGHT program”, says Adrienne Santaularia, Marketing Director for Dallas 24 Hour Club. “Guests should come hungry, ready to taste unbelievably delicious dishes. I am overjoyed year after year at the exquisite and imaginative treats our chefs prepare. Come hungry and wear stretchy pants!” she advises.

Tickets, which are $100 each, can be purchased on the Dallas 24 Hour Club website at www.dallas24hourclub.org/chef. Along with tastings from our top chefs, guests will enjoy music provided by Taylor Pace Orchestra, dancing and a live and silent auction.

Since 1969, Dallas 24 Hour Club has provided safe, sober transitional living for homeless men and women seeking a brand new life away from drugs and alcohol. Dallas 24 Hour Club is a registered 501(c)3.
